This is going to be a very short little review, as this is one of those products you can't say much about, other than: Nice.

It's the little things in life that count, when you really think about it. Things like nice spring mornings, pretty birds, and cute puppies. Oh yes. And computer gear that kicks ass. That's right up there with the puppies in my books. A short time ago I was looking through the catalogue from one of our long time suppliers of boring old stuff like hubs and routers and cables and I saw something new... Something tasty.. something round and pretty and so handy it made me scratch my head and ask myself "Why hasn't anyone come up with this before?" Sure many of us have attempted to reduce the wiring hell inside our cases by replacing those big fat nasty flat IDE ribbons with nice rounded cables, but Startech.com has added something very neat to the whole thing. Built in power cables. Right into the rounded IDE cable itself. So rather than having a cable coming off your power supply and going down to each of the drives on the cable, you've got one power supply lead going into the plug at the end of the cable, and each drive has a little lead right near the IDE connector. No fuss, no muss. Things look a little neater, with less cableage running around your case. Highly recommended, and the fact that it's available in different colors is nice for yea old case moding.

(Excuse the bluriness on the photo, it seems that blue lighting doesn't photograph too well, and my hands aren't the steadiest either.)
