We Recommend

As fast as you can get, and if you have a Voodoo, go buy something else. Like a GeForce. Trust us. We tried running this on a Celeron 450 with a Voodoo3 and it was a complete slide show.

Test Machines

Tbird 1.4/512 meg DDR/MSI Geforce 3/Creative Labs SB Live!

Celeron 450/256 Meg/Voodoo 3/3000

The Good

"Pay Ahead" discounts, Graphics, frequent patches, inventory/spell system is easy to follow and use. Huge detailed worlds, many, many monsters, realm vs. realm system, player trader career system, multiple classes/career choices.. *gasp* So many things done right....

The Bad $20.00/month CDN, server downtimes can be annoying occasionally (but are admitedly few, short and far between.) Console commands piss me off a little bit. Hitting Windows key crashes the game, which get annoying.

Replay Value Substantial. It is massively multiplayer, after all. :)
Cost

$54.99 CAN, $44.99 USD + $13.99 USD/month

Wow. This is one hell of a good game.

As anyone who knows me well will know, I don't really like RPGs... Other than Diablo.. And I'm not even big on Diablo these days. So when Dopper started ranting and raving about a new upcoming Massively Mulitplayer game coming out called "Dark Age Of Camelot" I wasn't really too impressed. Just another Evercrack........ Then Dopp got his ass onto the beta team, and started showing me some of the gameplay and screenshots he'd collected.. and I started reading up on the game a little more.. and Wow...... I was determined to play it. 3 weeks ago, I drove for a few hours to pick our copies up... Installed it.... and it was good. So very, very good. And so very, very addictive....

Next.... When things go right!
