Introduction

With the approaching summer and all that nice heat that comes along with it, I was sitting here with my good 'ol Inwin S500 that had served me so well for over a year, but I had begun to notice it wasn't doing enough of a job. Hot air was easily being trapped inside the case and even with the side panels off it seemed to keep the heat inside. I didn't even want to explore the possibility of what might happen under extreme heat, so it was time for a new case. Enter the Antec SX1030.

do not be fooled by the size of this pic, it is actually bigger then it looks :), well it comes in at around 20" tall, weighing in at 35lbs before adding any parts to it. What I was looking for when I bought this case was good overall expandibility, good airflow, lots of space to work with when I'm upgrading parts and just trying to pick a really cool looking case. The SX1030 has a little bit of everything and something that most computer cases don't. Lets move on and take a look at what it has to offer you.
