The next big Fatal1ty Product Endorsement?

Oct 1.2005 by Dave "Marauder" Kratky

With all of the recent Fatal1ty products for the high end gaming and computer enthusiast being released, we all wonder.. What's next? Modems? Golf clubs? Bobble head action figures? We managed to get Fatal1ty alone for a few minutes to comment on his future plans. When asked about any new product lines coming out, here's what he had to say:

"We've been expanding our range of Fatal1ity products, you know really broadening our horizons. Since we've put my name on pretty much every computer product known to man, including motherboards, video cards, and cooling fans we decided it was time to go in a different direction, try our appeal on a wider market. Therefore I am proud to announce an exclusive deal with Hasbro to produce the first in a vast new line of Fatal1ty products... The Fatal1ty Easy-Bake Oven and kitchen set. When I first won my Quake 3 competion, I had a dream. A dream to see my face on an Easy Bake Oven box. Now that dream has come true for myself, and for all my fans as well.

One of the toughest things for any pro-gamer has been to try and prepare snacks with the small amount of spare time you've got. It's hard to get to the store and stock up on munchies when you're playing games twenty hours a day. I found that my normal Easy Bake Oven just couldn't bake my brownies, cookies or tiny muffins quickly enough. At Quakecon 2004 I was chatting with a few sales guys from nVidia and they had great idea for a new product, and after over a year of development we're ready to announce the product launch!

Of course this isn't your Grandma's Easy Bake Oven, and many of our commercial partners have joined us for this new project. The box itself is by Hasbro of course, but the display is powered by the nVidia 7800 graphics chip, the control boards are by Abit and of course, the cooling fan is a Zalman. The special features make it a bit more expensive that the conventional oven but we feel it's well worth it for the extra performance. Now you can bake brownies just like Fatal1ty! When your friends ask just how you managed to do your muffins for the bake sale AND get in a few games of Quake 3 deathmatch you can say "It was my brand new Fatal1ty Easy Bake! I owned some punk bitches AND those muffins. Thanks Fatal1ty!"

Advice from the world's best known PC gamer and Easy Bake chef: "Stay hot!"

What's next for PC Gaming's newest product endorsement superstar? We'll have to wait and see, but we're hoping for the Barbie n' Fatal1ty motor home and pink Corvette.

It's a spoof of course. Easy Bake is a property of Hasbro and all other products and company names are the properties of their respective owners. Amusingly, for a week or so after this article got posted, this page was just under Hasbro's page on google when you searched for "Easy Bake Oven".
